I wish I could communicate with animals. I'd love to ask Forrest why he spends so much of his nocturnal life running in his wheel; whether he dreams of reaching a specific destination, or if he's simply the athletic type. I'd like to converse with lions and polar bears and killer whales, and various other 'dangerous' animals and tell them I believe they're beautiful and that the way they motion through life is enchanting. If only I could listen to siberian tigers, giant pandas and koalas as they plead to no longer be endangered, and advise them on how to prolong the survival of their species.
