We are becoming a generation that is far too reliant on modern technology, and that shall be our downfall - if it hasn't proven so already. Our destiny has been pre-determined by inventors such as Thomas Edison, Bill Gates and Martin Cooper to name but a few, and while I'm grateful and applause their perseverance I can't help but resent them ever so slightly for the colossal influence they have had upon society to date.
I wish writing letters was still as important to others as it is to me. Why is it that today we expect instant answers to everyday questions? Email and text have created an undeniable ignorance to the simple beauty of a hand-written letter.
I both love and loath the numerous opportunities new technology has present us with, and it is a most vicious form of hypocrisy.
