Romeo, Romeo...

It might be raining outside my window but the sun is still shining from where I'm sitting. This year has been nothing but brilliant. Sure, there's been the occassional low point - but a little bad only puts into perspective just how amazing the good really is. I'm in such a good place right now, the best I have been for a long long time.

This year I've travelled the world solo, entered into a relationship with someone who I am both thrilled and flattered to be with, been welcomed back into the job I left to pursue my travels, seen just how lucky I am to have such a wonderful Mum, Step-dad and older sister, and realised I'm a lot more capable and independent than I ever gave myself credit for.

You know what's best about all of the above? I've achieved and realised this all by the 17th of May 2012. That means that the year isn't even half gone yet, and I've plenty time to discover a lot more about myself, my world and the people I share it with...
