I'm a little late in posting this but, better late than never!
Hong Kong is everything you expect it to be; a bustling city, a structural jungle, a mass of bright lights against a moonlit backdrop. Rooms are confined, toilets meet different standards and the majority of food that I crossed my lips during my brief visit was coated in a layer of oil. That said, the architecture of the temple we visited was quite something, and the Sampan ride at Aberdeen fishing village was a welcome change from the densely packed city of Kowloon. Granted, I could have done with an extra couple of days to rid myself of the jetlag along with this cold I appear to have picked up, but Hong Kong was only intended to be a stop over and I'm eager to get to my next stop - Sydney. Toss another shrimp on the barbie, and all that jazz.
